Werewolves are not what you think. They are not sexy beasts you read about in cheap romance novels. They are wolf demons that take over their hosts, killing and devouring without a care for their owner's body. They came about in 1800, when starving farmers and slaves sought out a voodoo priestess for help. They were cursed and their curse bled down the line into each generation, all the way into 2017. Two hundred and seventeen years later, a day of choice passed down to each new child in every line. As if turning 16 wasn't scary enough, what with all the new hormones and teenage drama. Those horrors were the least of Breanne's problems, soon she would be choosing between life and death. Her day of choosing was coming quickly, following her birthday and she would be putting her soul in jeopardy. How do you say no to accepting a carnivorous wolf demon that could kill you with one glance?
