Your gift is to control flames, but it's an incredibly destructive power, so your Abuela Alma got angry at you one day. She fussed about how you could destroy la casita with your gift.

You didn't want that to happen. So, you never used your gift as often as the others. You would only use it if necessary or in your room, where everything was fireproof. None of the madrigals hated you, but they were a bit wary of being around you for too long because of your gift. Mirabel and Isabela were closest to you. They always comforted you when you broke down. Even though they disliked each other, they always put that thought at the back of their heads when around you.
