A girl born during a mafia war in New York. Her name? That's the thing. She was kidnapped, and her captor, James Briggs. After the war he moved Honoulu, Hawaii. The place where people are least likely to find him. But the thing is, everybody thought that he had died in the war except 1 person. The person who gave him this assignment. 

14 years has passed since he moved, the girl, 14 years old and going into high school. And how do I know this you ask? It's because I AM that girl. I answer to, Jay Briggs, the name he gave me because...

at this time, I didn't even know I was kidnapped.
