There are all kinds of beasts roaming around the world, most kind and want to live in peace with all living, undead and nature. This has always been our world. We call them higher beings. We humans have the same rights as all of them, still we fear things we can't understand. All beasts have a mate, vampires, witches and elves do too. Most human crave to have a mate for we are the greediest life form on our planet. Most don't want a mate for love it is what gift it will give us. Of all the beings in our world our lifespan are shortest, by a lot. The higher beings do not live forever, not even the vampires do but still they live to be at least a 1000 year old and they will look as young as they want till the day they die.
There is nothing special about me, I'm not beautiful, attractive nor is my body enchanting, most of us humans leave all that gifts to the higher beings. I'm not the smartest but still I'm not stupid. I love to read and create so in my spare time I write books but that does not pay my bills so I work in what gives me pleasure and that is a library.
