The Galactic Empire.

The totalitarian galactic government that sought control, order, and security in the galaxy was a faction largely known for its extensive reach across hundreds of systems. Though formerly the Galactic Republic, the faction was repurposed after the attempted assassination of the Supreme Chancellor, Palpatine, and was thus headed by the latter as the galaxy's imperial majesty. Though the Empire's influence outstretches beyond imagination for the Rebel Alliance, they nonetheless seek refuge in many worlds and have proven to be arrogant, stubborn, hopeful and most importantly dedicated.

Needless to say, these were dangerous traits to comprise a foe as resilient as the Rebel Alliance..

But you were not so different.

Neither were your brothers and sisters in the beloved Emperor's military force: The Stormtrooper Corps.

With insurgent factions prevailing in multiple worlds, it was without a doubt that their actions will not go without response. Not after the destruction of the Death Star. The death of Governor Tarkin and many of the Empire's joint chiefs.

To the Empire, these losses served as a signet. A sign that the Rebels were beginning to amass forces who were willing to not only combat against imperial rule but to go through great lengths to repel against it. And soon, many more systems in the dozens will be flocking to them..

To you?

This was to be expected. And of course, his imperial Majesty was wise enough to believe the same. The Rebels were growing stronger. They were harboring more within their ranks. And yet? The Empire proved to be efficient enough to regather their composure from this unfortunate predicament. The Death Star's destruction was but motivation for you to feed the urge to thwart these rebellious scum.

You were going to get your chance to do so in an alternative fashion. For you were reassigned from your previous unit to serve under Imperial Special Forces.

Your new unit?

As the Empire tightens its fist around the galaxy, Jess makes the decision to escape. Jess makes his way out of Imperial control and, eventually, into the hands of the Rebellion. Uncertainty is our lot in life, for the future is never what you expect. Uncertainty in years. Uncertainty in days. Uncertainty in what you'll recollect. ~ CT-8870 -- Among the masses of identical faces that reside on the rain-drenched planet of Kamino, CT-8870 is an oddity. He's been created to serve amongst the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic--even earned himself a specialty in sharpshooting--but unlike his clone 'brothers', CT-8870 has grown to value anonymity. Anonymity, after all, is what keeps safe from the scourges of his Kaminoan overlords. He's even evaded a name in favor of keeping to the background. His marginal hopes for his short life are quickly rearranged when he's inducted into the squad he'll be serving alongside. Amongst his new brothers, the army's signature fire and tenacity mix seamlessly with cavalier misadventures and even a type pf gentleness CT-8870 hasn't encountered since his childhood. Suddenly, the galaxy seems wider than ever before. Opportunities to learn and grow into something more than a soldier beam around every corner, but so does the ever-present threat of death. Or worse, the threat of loss. Could allowing himself to indulge in these two bonds, to fall into the camaraderie that is brotherhood, possibly be worth the risk of having it all stripped away? With tomorrow ever uncertain, CT-8870 is forced to step into the fog and shadows of the galaxy as well as the war. There is no such thing as stagnation in life, after all. There is no going backward--only forward. -- Inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but is largely original in nature. Crossposted to Ao3. Updates once weekly until I run out of content, then closer to once monthly.

Vella Delaba had been raised as a peacekeeper, a knight. But by necessity, she'd become a warrior and had fought in many wars. She'd been a padawan in the Clone Wars and had joined in the battle against the tyrannical Empire. But no matter how many fights she came back from, she was never prepared for what she'd lose. The Jedi had been slandered, their once loved name became mud beneath a blurrgs feet. She had fought battles civilians couldn't and was now branded a traitor. Her past haunted her. The Jedi haunted her. The Force haunted her. But no matter how much she ran, it always caught up. The Galactic Republic was long gone, the Jedi were dead, even the Empire had been defeated. She'd lived through all of it, all because she'd ignored and hidden one of the most important things about her. The war was over, the Rebellion had won, the Empire was gone. So why was she still struggling to find where she fit in the mix of it? She was a Jedi. Where did a Jedi fit into a galaxy that hadn't seen one for nearly thirty years? Against the Odds, and quite surprisingly, she found she fit quite nicely with a Mandalorian and a small child. Even if the Baby is the only one to figure that out yet. --------- HI IM BREEZY!! Clones

16 parts Complete

Clone Order 66 was the time when all Jedi died. All the Knights, padawans, and children of the force, dead. All but one, me. The clones killed them all. Every clone turned. All except three, Gregor, Rex, and Wolffe. My best friend was among the ones who turned. His name was Jack. After he shot down my master, I fled. I left with the three clones still on my side. I never wanted to see Jack again. I'm an untrained Jedi, without a master, running from the Sith that want me dead. How did this happen? My parents disappeared and my sister died in an explosion caused by the republic forces, almost 10 years ago! I thought I'd never see any of them again, I was wrong. During an un-planned rescue, I learned of a message from an old Jedi master. I regret my instant reaction to the instructions I was given. I've been told poems that don't make any sense by ghosts. Don't call me insane, I know I am. One of them drills into me and I can't get it out. The ghost had told me, they loved droids so much, they became one. I don't know who they are? Me? Let's hope not. I then heard a strange, mechanical sounding, yet familiar voice from the bushes around me. "It's not." She answered. "It's me."
