Young Mauriq Jo has a weapon for survival. A keen awareness of what subsides in the heart and mind. The hate that thrived from fear, and the anger that fed off of pain. As a little girl she'd absorbed more then one should. But unlike fear and pain, she gained understanding. Now she has to step out into a cold relentless world with a weapon that could make or break her, and she has no clue on how to use it.
