because the only thing ni-ki's ever wanted to pursue-was the forbidden love between him an angel-an angel who obliviously looked beyond those ruby, love struck eyes and interpreted it as nothing but a sinister scowl that was only used to mask those unforeseen desires.

It can only be unlocked by the person who has the key and no matter what method is used, it cannot be broken. Cecilia would rather just forget the whole thing, refuse to give Ezekiel the satisfaction he so wants, and remain handcuffed to Maisie for the rest of her life. It doesn't take long to realize that it's just not possible. Maisie is everything that she shouldn't be in the human realm. Bigoted, rude, and annoyingly difficult. She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves. Now, Ink terribly naive for a protector. Of course, he was the heart. He had a place in everyone's heart- With Dream & Blue being the next. Blue being a guard, and Dream being his 'right-hand man.' Most of the time being the one helping and guiding Ink. They soon find him to be missing, captured by the demons. Panic would be spread all over the place if they were to find out Ink was missing. With this, and a limited time to work with, considering if you were to officially become a ruler of somewhere, your heart has to actually want to leave if you were to leave. Uta was hurt multiple times by people he thought loved him and now has a nasty chip on his shoulder. He'd became a fuck boy with a knack for breaking hearts. Ghouls always fell for the whole 'tortured soul' thing he had going for him and he'd let them if it meant taking his mind off things. When he sees something he likes he takes it, Uta likes what he sees in kaneki but is afraid of being hurt again. Given Uta's complicated past will he reject the connection they have because he's afraid or will he let the sweet little ghoul steal what's left of his heart.
