Duchess Melanie Amdusias has been in love with the Human World since her first contract as a child. As she ventures further from the portal bridging Hell and the Human World she encounters William, the Angel of Life, and that love is directed to him. After he continuously fails to trap her, he tries a different tactic: befriend her. When the friendship blossoms and turns into something more, the two don't realize God and Lucifer have their ways of learning what their children are doing.

The heaven and hell were not at their best terms. Though god tried his best to keep everything at peace, some of his near ones did not like Lucifer's behaviour which was getting cruel day by day.
