(Bruno-centric)

Bruno Madrigal lived in the walls for ten years. He watched over his family, and while he missed them terribly, he told himself he was doing the right thing for them. Especially for Mirabel. They could figure it out, and he would watch them grow and make it better. He told himself to be happy just watching.

But now Bruno is OUTSIDE the walls. His family has brought him back home. He is overjoyed (maybe a little emotional about it at times), but... he's not used to this. He's not used to being seen. And there are so many people, within the house and without.

Good thing he's got the amazing Madrigal Familia to help.

or

Bruno getting accustomed to being a member of the family again, and his family making him feel the love he deserves.

The Madrigal's are a famed family that reside within Encanto. They were given a gift, a miracle, and that miracle is passed down through many generations. Their purpose is to serve, help, and protect the citizens of their village. Abuela Alma is the matriarch of the household. Her husband, Abuelo Pedro, sacrificed himself to give her the miracle. This left Abuela to raise 3 beautiful children and lead a village. When these three children turned five, it was their turn to receive the miracle. Each was given a magical gift that would aid them in serving the village. Pepa was given the ability to control the weather with her emotions, Julieta was given the power to heal through food, and Bruno was given the power to see into the future. But as kids do, they grew up. Each child grew into an adult and with some pressure from Abuela, they began looking for partners. Pepa married her childhood friend, Félix, and it was the beginning of Bruno's bad reputation. Julieta, on the other hand, married a clumsy man named Augustin. After their marriages, both women were pregnant soon. And Abuela was delighted to have more magical blessings on the way. Delores and Isabela were born first. The very first grandchildren to the Madrigal family. But between their birth and when they received their powers, Bruno's reputation continued to deteriorate. As did his relationship with his mother and sisters. He was becoming desperate. People in the town feared him. All he wanted was love. Then Bruno meets Valentina. They hit it off. Bruno is desperate. And his desperation results in an accident. Valentina becomes pregnant. Abuela is angry. They offer to get married but Abuela says the damage is done. Valentina gives birth to a baby girl she names Itzayana, after the moon. But Valentina never sees her daughter grow. Follow Itzayana as she navigates being a Madrigal and deals with the effects of her power. And maybe, just maybe, Itzayana finds someone special of her own.

To be fair you always had a crush on Luisa Madrigal, but you were always intimidated by her too. One day your best friend and also her sister, Mirabel, makes you step out of your comfort zone and start hanging out with her to help you realize she isn't really that intimidating, but rather a big loveable baby. You of course have a slightly bad reputation for making the other girls of Encanto fall in love with you unintentionally because of your horrible jokes and awkward/silly personality. Luisa well she has the most beautiful reputation of all (almost) for always helping out and her personality was usually hidden, but was definitely there once you got to know her. As for Alma (Abuela) she never really liked you, but for the sake of Mirabel kept you around because she knew that sometimes Mirabel needed more then just her family to be happy, but the last thing she expects is her own granddaughter to fall for the one person she's never really agreed with. Its no secret that its forbidden for two girls to love one another in the small village of Encanto, but when its someone from the Madrigal family that rule just might be broken or bent a little. This is my first time writing a girlxgirl story, so if it sucks thats why. If you'd like to have me fix anything in it I can. If you have some ideas or requests that you'd like to see in the book I will try and make it happen. Updates will be slow as I work alot, so no guarantee I will be able to update everyday.⁵

Your gift is to control flames, but it's an incredibly destructive power, so your Abuela Alma got angry at you one day. She fussed about how you could destroy la casita with your gift. You didn't want that to happen. So, you never used your gift as often as the others. You would only use it if necessary or in your room, where everything was fireproof. None of the madrigals hated you, but they were a bit wary of being around you for too long because of your gift. Mirabel and Isabela were closest to you. They always comforted you when you broke down. Even though they disliked each other, they always put that thought at the back of their heads when around you. But, when you follow Mirabel in her mission to find out the truth about your tío Bruno, your thoughts change a little. · Not a character x reader! · Female reader · English with bits of Spanish
