The story takes place after Book 4. Since Korra and Asami went to the Spirit World for vacation, Mako continued his job as a detective while his brother, Bolin, starred a movie directed by Varrick. Wu had stepped down from the throne and started his singing career, and Earth Kingdom has become a democracy country.
3 months later, the ladies came back to Republic City. Things has changed when Korra found that her relationship isn't simple as she thinks.
