One day he is sent to the town of Encanto where he meets the Madrigal family and is welcome to stay with them until he is of age to live on his own. He drains the magic of the candle as a trial to see how the family handles the loss of their gift and if they would blame Mirabel, the only gift-less child born of the family. he would either allow them to keep their magic or snuff out the magic completely. She knew how important that candle and its miracle was to her family but she also knew how much they depended on it. She was not about to let the candle flicker out but if it did she would be the one to protect her family. Will her family realize they have pushed away Mirabel in time it will they lose her forever? This is a shorter story and the chapters are shorter than most of my other books. I may rewatch encanto at some point and edit this story to be longer but idk.
