Tucked in her warm blankets, Maze gets lost in her thoughts and overthinks. She gets up to do her morning routine before work. cleaning the kitchen, doing the house laundry, and feeding her younger brother she gets overwhelmed. Maze calls off work and goes on a walk along the Riverwalk with her brother. When she texts her parents she tells them she needs to think. After her saying this they begin to worry about her, her father offers her to talk to him. She declines and returns home to a worried household, what will happen next?

As they were driving home around one in the morning, Jewel suddenly reached for Maze's hand. "Maze... let's not go home yet. Let's go somewhere." Maze glanced at her. "But it's past midnight, Jewel.
