When Persephone meets the handsome stranger that trespasses onto her mothers land with her drunk friend, she doesn't know what to think.
Being the goddess of spring has its own challenges: satisfying the mortals, avoiding interested gods, and managing an entire season without tearing her own hair out seems to be enough to deal with without an over bearing mother. Don't get her wrong, she loves her job. Helping the mortals, and creating life with a wave of her hand would seem like something anyone would kill for. But Persephone want more. She's tired of waiting on the sidelines for her life to begin. So, when she meets Hades, the all-powerful god of the Underworld, she takes an interest. They make a deal, one that will satisfy both parties involved.
That is, only if they learn to be in the same room together first.
But when Persephone's mother wants her daughter back, and Hades' brother wants his support from Demeter back, will their love be strong enough to over come the things that want to tear them apart?
