After the multiverse was almost destroyed, Peter Parker has become a ghost to the world. No one knows of his existence once Doctor Strange cast the spell to make everyone forget about him. Spider-Man still exists, but Peter Parker does not.

Despite his dreams of going to MIT, Peter has found himself going to ESU. He keeps to himself, not wanting anyone to be a part of his life, but a girl named Felicia Hardy, who is in some of his classes, takes an interest in him. Meanwhile, Spider-Man meets a thief known as the Black Cat, who always seems to want him to catch her.
