So far this year was one of the best yet worst years of 15 year old Kacey's life. Her boyfriend cheated on her and her brother broke up with the love of his life. She became an Aunt, was accepted into a prestigious music school in New York and her Dad came home from Vietnam. But the year isn't over yet, it's only just begun. Kacey needs change in her life, so that's exactly what she does. Kacey dyes her hair, now goes by her full name and stops working at the DX. But someone convinces her she doesn't need to change that she is perfect the way she is, who?
