Despite being only 17, Virgil's had a horrible life, living in an orphanage and being an outcast at school, and it just got even worse when he's kidnapped by a freaking cult! He thought he was dead for sure when they started sacrificing him to some demon, but apparently the demon chose to serve him since he was the one giving away his blood to summon them. Now he's stuck with a demon named Roman who will take his soul when he dies, yeah, that's probably the worst thing that's happen to him so far. Or so it seemed at first...

Virgil and Roman's friendship had been complicated since the beginning, assumptions and prejudice having ruled over their relationship all the way into high school. But when Virgil's family moves out of state, the theater-obsessed teen becomes determined to prove to Virgil, and himself, that he's more than just a villain to him. Will contain major triggers. I'll put a warning at the beginning of the chapters that have them.

*Completed* After a near death experience, Roman can see strange things, things that don't make sense. Animals that died, strange creatures that roam about, and a strange hooded figure that seems so familiar. No one else can see these things, though these things can see them. They can affect them as well. Virgil hates cities, the bigger the city the more death there is, the more work he has to do. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits. The Dark Forest by inkling0121

*Completed* With their kingdom is falling apart and in debt, Prince Roman and Prince Remus head out to the Dark Forest with hope that they will find the Heart of Life. With the Heart, they would be able to save their kingdoms crops and pull the kingdom out of the dark days. However, within a few days of traveling through the forest, they are attacked and lost in the forest, with only a servant and knight for company. Mal, a dragon witch, lives in the forest with her two sons, Janus and Virgil. Though the three are powerful, Mal made enemies with the fae who have ever since been trying to kidnap Janus for revenge. Luckily, or maybe unfortunately, they ignore Virgil for the most part since he was adopted. When they cross paths with the humans, things get a bit... messy. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. *Completed* The crowned prince of the Andreas kingdom, Prince Roman was blessed, or as he sees it cursed, to appear to people as their ideal version of beauty. The stress of it all had caused him and his twin brother, Remus, to run away. They had everything planned out, for the most part, but when the ship they ran away on is overtaken by pirates, they impulsively joined the crew. The captain of the ship, known as the Masked Pirate for he wore a black mask that covered his whole face, seemed like a stoic man to the public, but the twins quickly see his love for his crew. The twins believe that they had found the perfect family, and the best life. Until a deadly curse is placed upon the captain, and the crew has to rush to find an island that holds a fountain that can wash away curses before it's too late. The problem is that the island moves, and they're being chased down by someone who wants the captain dead.
