Once a thief, always a thief, right? Not for a young hedgehog that goes by the name of Shadow. He would always roam the town and steal whatever he could get his hands on and whenever someone thought they had him, he would outsmart them. One day on his way back home he sees another hedgehog in danger and saves them, not knowing that he just saved the prince! Soon Shadow's luck runs short once he is arrested for "kidnapping" prince Sonic. Not only that but soon Shadow gets into even more trouble for releasing something upon the kingdom that has been hidden/locked up within the castle. When Shadow gets taken to the king to decide his punishment he gets saved by the prince himself. Instead of him being punished, the king is thankful for saving his son and sees potential in Shadow. He wants Shadow to become a knight to protect his son from not only inside the kingdom but also outside the kingdom walls. Shadow now must give up his thief life to protect the prince and everyone else around him from the evil that lurks. Will he succeed or lose the love of his life forever?
