When Aurlisha Fox, a twenty-one year old student at BMCC has to juggle the many challenges of adulting while still trying to keep her personal life at balance, she realizes that becoming and molding into the actual definition of "grown" is harder than she thought. Her crazy family and ride-or-die friends keeps her going, but she knows that to make it in life she has to do a lot of things on her own without being so dependent on others. When one temporary night out with the girls that was supposed to consist of fun events turn into a long term consequential stream, Aurlisha's perfect picture of a future falls apart and she has to pick up each piece, one by one, while trying to cancel out all the noise around her.
