"Didn't you learn not to piss off the wrong people?" His cool breath fanned her face, as she placed the palms of her hands on the wall behind her. Flashbacks of a year and a half ago raced through her head, as she thought about her hugging the man constantly, for he was almost her brother. But he hated her profession. Maybe she should have listened to him, maybe then she wouldn't be half way across the world, away from Cassiel, away from her twin. Her blue eyes sparkled with a fiery blue, as she looked at the man. 
"Says the man that hired me to look into someone. Tell me Dempsey, do you like being a hypocritical jackass?" She watched as her snide remark made Dempsey's eyes burst into a charcoal brown that held a thousand emotions. Would the two ever be able to get along? 
He saved her, and yet the two are making each others lives a living hell. The past is not something that can be repeated, the both know that. And yet he is the only one who can protect her. Only one wrong move...
