First things first if anyone has read a different virus-heartfire then youll see a lot of similarities but this is a different book i will be making completely new characters new heartfire abilities and at some point i will refference Crystal Scherers home for the 'fired' but thats about it and art isnt mine the credit goes to the artist and once again i am not trying to steal crystals book all of those characters are hers the only thing im using is the virus and world itself.

The world ended and if your bitten or blood or saliva gets in an open wound you turn into a zombie, simple right well it would be if Cynder joined the ranks of the undead but they didnt, they turned into something completely different.

It was a decently warm day out and i was just walking around my small hometown of bessemer, it was peacefull untill a scream ill never forget peirced the air.

We had seen the reports of a flu like virus going around but what we saw on the news was a nightmare ripped from ours deepest fears, Well enough of the boring crap you all probably wanna know the juicy exiting stuff.

Currently im be chased thruogh a small courtyard by smaller children with sticks shaped like small guns, "Hah got you" one of them shouted has he jumped around a corner, holding me a "gun"point, as i fell the to ground with a bit of dramatic flare when we heard a scream "RUNNER!!!!"

Odd bit of a thing i know in crystals book they are called swifts but id like to think different places with diffetent people would call them different things

Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. A Different Virus - Laura's Story by CrystalScherer
153 parts Complete
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!) This story is copyright and built from my own imagination. This book was a special request from someone who helped me a lot. This viewpoint has less action than the original. The cover was made by @All_AboutAssymetry. A huge thanks to her! Copyright September 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. A soft whistle blew by crystal dawn, mismatched by the broken harmonies who sought and fought their way home..Carrying the biggest secrets and horrors the multiverse cannot comprehend. Deities called and Wars were waged, broken souls and haunting wisps of memories. Treacherous Deals and Sinister Forces toil, the dead of negative nights as the one who corrupted the soil lay half awake in their bodily state. Mismatched Colours bring about new pleasures and cautions, wings of bubble beauty and transparent crystal jewels cast aside by those who took deal leaving only a shelled remain of a former god. Corrupted and one forgotten and formed to be forced upon different Fates and Destinies, they finally find a way home...But the troubles toil and coil as the ones who hunt at the table during the night tail the sly and coy couple. Home at last, they're wings and identity unbound. But the soil of time remain rotten and cruel over the once bound ones, new eyes watch and old faces foil. ------------------------------ I do not own the Fgod multiverse, that belongs to Harrish6 rightfully! I only input my own Idea's and situations into the Fgod multiverse. I also do not own any of the character's used in this rewrite unless I say otherwise. All the original characters and their designs go to their respective owners, go pay the creators of these wonderful characters some much missed appreciation and love! Warnings for this book - * Violence * Suicide * Swearing * Ships * Trauma * Fluff * Self-Harm (Also sorry about the Cover, I was lazy and took down the better pictures because it would half spoil the character design which is again, undergoing changes.) Started....? Ended...? (Nah dude, This ain't ending till I say it's ending.)
Trusting Grace by ilovefelix217

"I've been burned once, who is to say it will not happen again" I spoke quietly watching her closely. Grace confused me like no other she wormed her way into my heart with her easy-going smiles, kind nature, and gentle heart. Feeling her small hands hold my large ones I glance down into her green eyes "You need to trust that I am not Mia have I not proven to you Cassian, I am here to stay you fit with me" she said in a gentle yet firm tone. The smile she sent me held love, comfort and that was all it took after months of breaking down the walls I decided to take a leap of faith. *********************************************** Cassian Grey had been burned once and that was enough for him after sharing a business deal with his four other brothers they opened up The Grey Gull on the coast of Cornwall, England. A fresh start is what these guys needed and a fresh start is what they will get. Grace Bauer is an art historian with her own little gallery where she brings long-forgotten pieces of beauty back to life. She too had been burned so when she hears of this bar and grill opening up she knows her friends are just dying to try it out. What both of these souls don't realize is that once thrown in each other's paths they soon realize that maybe just maybe they are what the other half needs in one another. It may take a little more convincing on Cassian's part but can he take that leap of faith and trust Grace. All rights are reserved names of places mentioned in this book are all real places however the story line and names of the characters are all from my own ideas. Please do not copy my story under any given circumstances as I do not want to have to take legal action but I will if required. I come on here because I love writing and I love writing books that I myself would love to read and continue to read to find out the outcome. Updates every M, T, W, T, F, S :)

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

REVISED EDITION COMING OUT MONTHLY/COMPLETED In a world overrun by zombies, A single bite heralds doom - except for Kaindra, who defies death itself, being undead already. ******** As humanity struggles to adapt to the new reality of zombies-infested streets and lurking supernatural creatures from ancient myths and legends, survival becomes an ever-evolving challenge. Survival is a constant battle not only against the undead but also against supernatural creatures and their zealous followers. The relentless onslaught of zombies and the mysterious reemergence of mythical beings push society to its limits. Civilization's last bastions fall one by one, teetering on the brink of collapse. As these ancient myths awaken, they reveal intentions that are far from clear- some may hold the key to salvation, while others could herald further doom. The question remains: Can humanity unravel the mysteries of these legendary beings in time to save themselves, or will they fall prey to the very legends they once dismissed? ___ Excerpt: Taking a deep breath, I lean closer to the mirror, my skin prickling. I thought it was a trick of the light, but as I stare at my reflection, my fragile lies crumble away. The reflection staring back at me feels unrecognizable. My once deep, dark brown eyes now glimmer with an otherworldly light, like twin moons suspended in a sea of silver. The faint glow within them swirls softly, catching the dim flicker of flame I summoned, like ripples across a moonlit lake. Their alien intensity sends a chill down my spine. The orbs seemed to hold a universe within, depths of endless mysteries and ancient wisdom beyond my grasp. ___ Warning: Mentions of suicide and self-harm Beautiful cover made by @scmimi.
