Childhood bestfriends reunite after going their separate ways and failing at falling in love.

23 year olds Adrianna Bailey and Damien Hall are a long way from their quiet, predictable lives in their home state of North Carolina. Gone are the days when the pair would snack on buttery Bojangles biscuits on the way home from the megachurch Adrianna's family lead careful not to
"spoil their appetites" before Sunday dinner.

Adrianna left behind her southern roots four years ago when she left North Carolina for the hustle and bustle of the city that never sleeps. Once, the self proclaimed wildchild, prodigal daughter of a pastor those days now long behind her Adrianna longs for something maybe even someone more. She's grown accustomed to working 24/7 to bring her one step closer to her dreams each day but her workaholic lifestyle doesn't necessarily make it easy to find a long term partner.

Damien has no intention of getting sucked into the vortex that is big city living. He just wants a chance to launch his tech startup and some potential investors there can offer that to him. His big idea is on the cusp of making him fairly wealthy if the meeting pans out but Damien wants more than wealth. Ridiculous right? I mean what more could you want.

Love.

Damien wants love. Real love none of the superficial stuff.He wants real genuine love because what's the point of having all that money with no one to share it with?
