16 year old Cesar Alvarez is a nobody. He gets picked on at school. He has no friends. He can't get anything in life except for a "No."
That's when Cesar meets legend of Pearl City, Quill Young. The legend himself. Quill, being a lazy and the high school peak guy, is asked by Cesar to give him lessons of the most popular martial arts in the city, as the city is most well known for: Karate.
Quill reluctantly accepts. And if only he would see what was ahead of him and his pupil.
