When Dick reached the black gate connected to the enormous stone wall he punched Alfred's key code in. As a teenager, when Bruce kicked him out of his home, Alfred had been the one to invite him back in and lend him a code that even the big bad bat wouldn't dare revoke.
His brothers would be there tonight before patrol. Alfred had declared tonight a family dinner. The secret laid heavy on his tongue caged behind his teeth. This would be their last family dinner. Or at least, the last time any of them would see Dick alive.

"I felt like he only saw me as the go-to plan, he placed me in a glass cabinet and only looked at me when he wanted something." After the Death of Jason Todd, [M/N] hung up his cape and switch lanes. He had been Bruce's support, when Gotham Children Services needed Bruce to shape up after Dick's parent's death then they got married. The only get the house ready was in the form of [M/N], his closest piece. When Bruce arrived to the academy after his parents death, he met [M/N] and sought him out to give him peace. Bruce having given what was enough to his husband who loved him dearly, and yet kept himself out of finger-tip reach. Now after many years, [M/N] was wearing down himself, his marriage and his kids. Oh, his kids, his Kids who began taking after Bruce in ways that broke [M/N]'s heart. Maybe they viewed him in a way like an object, that he will always be there and they're right. Now after another missed birthday, [M/N] began to hear and feel things. His family says he's asking for attention, that it's nothing. Until he finds a small door with an interesting key. The batbros (Dick, Jason, Tim and Damien) head out on patrol together for family bonding time. But it isn't the fun night punching bad guys they thought it would be. Instead, they run into Riddler. Dick is hurt and no one knows. Jason is claustrophobic. Damien has adopted a cat. Tim is done with family bonding time. They need to contact Batman for help, but first they need to find their way it out of this God dammed maze! (Also ages are - Dick: 22 Jason: 20 Tim: 18 Damien: 10 Ik big age gap, it's just how I see them. Pretty much every villain around knows not to mess with the Bat family, but after a villainous scheme gone wrong Bane takes advantage of Nightwing's relationship with Batman to finally take the big bad Bat down for good. Weakness
It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. His was his age; he was nimble, yes, quick, yes, agile, yes, but occasionally his limbs cramped, or he had trouble breathing. ---Ⓜ️ for blood, gore etc, and bad language! ---Complete
