When Dick reached the black gate connected to the enormous stone wall he punched Alfred's key code in. As a teenager, when Bruce kicked him out of his home, Alfred had been the one to invite him back in and lend him a code that even the big bad bat wouldn't dare revoke.
His brothers would be there tonight before patrol. Alfred had declared tonight a family dinner. The secret laid heavy on his tongue caged behind his teeth. This would be their last family dinner. Or at least, the last time any of them would see Dick alive.

"I felt like he only saw me as the go-to plan, he placed me in a glass cabinet and only looked at me when he wanted something." After the Death of Jason Todd, [M/N] hung up his cape and switch lanes. He had been Bruce's support, when Gotham Children Services needed Bruce to shape up after Dick's parent's death then they got married. The only get the house ready was in the form of [M/N], his closest piece. When Bruce arrived to the academy after his parents death, he met [M/N] and sought him out to give him peace. Bruce having given what was enough to his husband who loved him dearly, and yet kept himself out of finger-tip reach. Now after many years, [M/N] was wearing down himself, his marriage and his kids. Oh, his kids, his Kids who began taking after Bruce in ways that broke [M/N]'s heart. Maybe they viewed him in a way like an object, that he will always be there and they're right. Now after another missed birthday, [M/N] began to hear and feel things. His family says he's asking for attention, that it's nothing. Until he finds a small door with an interesting key. But what will happen when Dick finds himself confronting the newest vigilante and finding someone he knew under the helmet? Dick is hurt and no one knows. Jason is claustrophobic. Damien has adopted a cat. Tim is done with family bonding time. They need to contact Batman for help, but first they need to find their way it out of this God dammed maze! (Also ages are - Dick: 22 Jason: 20 Tim: 18 Damien: 10 Ik big age gap, it's just how I see them. This follows no exact storyline you can read it how you want but there's no young justice involvement sorry ) Disclaimer: I own none of the characters, nor do I own the cover picture.
