Welcome to the world of Pokemon, a world where supernatural and mysterious creatures call home. All Pokemon come in different shapes and sizes. Some are used for battle, some are seen as pets or companions, and others help in all sorts of ways in society. Pokemon coexist with humans, and both work together in order to further progress into the future. But what if the future wasn't as "sunshine and rainbows" as they thought. The world became plagued with a deadly deep-red, smoke-like miasma that devoured and corrupted all that was unfortunate in getting in its way. Because of this, most of the population was forced into multiple civilizations protected under highly defensive domes. But one city in particular, stood out more than the others. The largest protected bastion located in the region of Neo Radia. It's a region home to the strongest resistance, the Royal Guards; highly skilled Pokemon trainers who protect their dome civilization and find ways to be able to reclaim the outside world. But where there is light, there's shadows that hide in the darkness. WARNING!!! A Pokémon Trainer is one of the most respectable professions a person can undertake. Training, raising and honing the abilities of these monster and allowing them reach the peak of strength. Whether it be in dark caverns, inhospitable tundras or scorching deserts, only the best of the best can survive and earn the title of Champion. However, not all is right in the region of Sinnoh. From the peak of Mount Coronet, to the smallest village, restlessness is rife. Criminal organisations and Pokémon hunters threaten the delicate balance, while rumours of the occult have spread fear among the general populace. Wisened Village Elders warn of abnormalities, wild Pokémon acting unnaturally, strange weather patterns, signs which all foretold a time of great danger from an age long past. And, from seemingly out of nowhere, a young man with an natural proficiency with Pokémon appears, with no memory of where they are or how they got there.
