Letters to Abel

Amelie Shameel was Queen now and she liked to believe she had healed. The woman took great solace in the fact that her past was her past and nothing about it could be changed, erased, or redone. So, when she finally had gotten her life on track, had finally gotten a good rule over her people, had finally made a name for herself on her own, why the hell did the past come back to haunt her?

When her country is forced to war after a life changing secret leaves its borders, Queen Amelie Shameel must prepare her people to fight and protect Fonich, a plant which cures all sickness and only grows in the depths of their country's valleys. But when she is forced to accept help from Abel Mohammed, a man from her past, she has to put her feelings aside for the livelihood of her country, friends, and survival.
