Horror on Darrington Hill

A nightmare in the early days of his holidays in Darrington Hill violently pulls Ben out of his apparent tranquility, and shows that there is much more than the old house hidden on the hill. Shortly thereafter, a series of supernatural events begin to unfold, both his and his cousin's lives are threatened by some sort of demonic conspiracy and his sanity is put to the test. After all, is hell really coming to life within the decrepit walls of that house?

Engaged in a race against time for salvation, Ben will have to understand what that whole conspiracy around him means, what they want from him and will discover that the world outside the orphanage is much worse than he had imagined. And that the way out of that nightmare may be too extreme for him to handle...

Benjamin Francis Simons' own account fills the pages of Horror on Darrington Hill, with each chapter being introduced by newspaper clippings, letters, documents, or archives that take an outside look at the terrible incident and help the reader assemble this blood-covered puzzle.

The supernatural horror with pinches of psychological suspense, pulp and noir created by brazilian author Marcus Barcelos was born on Wattpad in 2014, with new chapters being published every two weeks. As the story progressed, so did his readership, which now exceeds the 1.5 million mark, making Marcus the first national horror writer to reach that number in the digital platform. Also, in 2015, Horror in Darrington Hill won one of the categories of the 2015 edition of "The Wattys", the biggest and most important prize in Wattpad, that celebrates the best in creative writing.
