Marcella Coleman is by all means the perfect representative of the Handsel Church. She's kind, intelligent and holds her beliefs above all else in her life. She has to. She's a metallic, Which means she has a chance to receive parahuman abilities. The church revolves around parahumans and their gifts, so in turn it revolves around people like Marcella. That foundation, however may well begin to crack as a group called The Evolved start to push back. After all, there's always been a fissure between religion and science. Especially when powers are involved.
