(Tom Holland x Reader) No, your life is not exciting and you're not that special. But your daily teasing with Thomas, one of your roommates and coincidentally also your brothers best friend, still manages to get you in some complicated situations you didn't know you were able to face. Your brother Sam and your mutual friend Harrison wouldn't be fond of you dating their best friend Thomas, or even liking him. But you do in some strange way, despite him being an ass and a shit boss at work. And you'll soon find out that your apparently normal life with your New York City apartment, your average job as an employee of a great company and those damn three males determining your life isn't as normal as you thought it was. And when your and Toms tricky pasts are catching up on the both of you, you start to question everything you thought you were... I'd like to say that the first 15-20 parts of this story were written a long time ago and I don't like the plot or the way the story is written at all. I promise it gets better and if I find the time I'll rewrite the first parts. So remain patient with the beginning of my story<3 Keep an open mind. I promise to blow it. Please vote and comment it really helps my story<3 Now enjoy. [Of course characters like Tom or Harrison aren't mine they're real people and not like that in real life. All other characters like Elena or Sam are mine and originated from my imagination.] *irregular updates*

"Why have you been acting so weird around me today?" "What? I haven't been acting weird." I sit on the bed and cross my arms, wincing when the pressure from my arm sends a jolt of pain through my injured hand. "Yes, you have been. Any time I tried to talk to you all day, you made up some excuse to run off." "I don't know, Tom, I'm still getting used to us being friends." He rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "What now?" "It just seems like you're looking for a reason for us to fight." He scolds. "Really? Because right now it seems like you're the one fighting," I scoff. "God, I knew this was too good to be true." I walk into the bathroom to start taking my makeup off and Tom follows me. "Too good to be true?" He leans his hand on the counter next to me. He's radiating warmth. It makes me feel dizzy. I shake my head to get rid of the feeling. "Yes. Any time we take any kind of step to becoming friends, it gets ruined. Hence, what is happening now." I look at him through the mirror. Shock is plastered all over his face. "You are impossible!" He whisper-shouts. "Any semblance of an argument is blown way out of proportion." I place both hands on the counter and look into the sink. "All I've ever wanted was for us to get along," he scolds. "And it seems like every time we make any kind of progress, you push me away." I scoff and look over at him. I'm surprised to see tears in his eyes. He steps back toward the bedroom. "Maybe we shouldn't talk for a while. Clearly, we need to figure our shit out." He blinks his tears away and turns around, walking toward my bedroom door. "Tom!" He doesn't turn around, he doesn't acknowledge my calling him, he just walks out the door. "Fuck!" I whisper to myself. ----- Will Y/N and Tom finally be able to put their stubbornness aside and face the truth about their relationship, or will things end up as they always do: messy and uprooted?
