Sam and Lilly are a couple, or well its complicated, who go to school at Buckhill Academy. These two go from strangers to friends. From friends into lovers and then strangers again. Lilly is a brunette, and her last name is Stone, and she has a big crush on the schools most popular boy, Sam. Sam Dertivo. He was broad, tall and handsome. He had lovely soft hair and was good at sports. Lilly loved him since she was small. But Sam never could tell. Their story begins as we join them on their journey from year 7 all the way to their year 11 Prom. The book is not just based around Lilly and Sam though. It is based of Lillys best friends Chloe and Ruby. One is a blonde and the other is a mixed-race girl who lives with her father, who does everything for her. She is called Ruby. Chloe, like I said is blonde and is smart and has an awkward relationship with her parents. Chloes dad moved away from them to do work and left their lives, while her mother is a top lady in the schools administration board. She is well respected but is also a little bit of a teachers pet.
