Aphrodite Kensington is a lot of things.

She's a princess, the life of the party, most skilled in combat, she's the strongest . . .

She's a liar.

Not only had she convinced herself that her lie was true, she convinced her family of it too. She never thought her lie would come back to bite her in the ass, they never have before.

But Aphrodite shouldn't have lied about a person she truly knew nothing about.

Now she's gotten herself and her family caught in a dangerous situation just when they thought everything was over.

Jesabel is a liar. When her only friend mysteriously disappears, she does what comes naturally. She keeps her truth from the world. Without warning, she is thrown into a web of lies far more dangerous and lethal than anything she could imagine. With an annoyingly charming boy by her side, can she unravel what she refuses to tell - the truth? WHITE LIES HAS BEEN REVISED, EDITED AND REWORKED! Happy late new year, friends! I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that White Lies, a story that has been up and running on Wattpad since 2011, has been re-written and revised for the coming decade. What does this mean? This entails the same characters you know and love, with better flow, better writing, more nuanced character development, more mature content, and entirely different plot lines. Jesabel's character has changed drastically since I last introduced her to the world (nearly NINE years ago! yikes!), and I wanted to make this story a more nuanced and modern take. When I had written White Lies, I had been just 14 years old. And I've done a ton of growing, learning, and unlearning over the years. This means that my characters have grown and developed with me. If you are an old friend and re-reader - welcome, and please enjoy the same old story you love with a brand new take! If you have started along this White Lies journey beginning in December and all throughout January, you might have read a half-edited and half-original version of the story. So please feel free to re-read at your leisure! I won't bite, I promise.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

"You lied to me" I screamed "You hid everything from me, why. Just why did you do this to me, to my siblings?" Tears began streaming down my face. "I did it to protect you, and your brothers, and your sister. I did it all for you guys" he said. "At what cost ... at what damn cost did we have to pay for your mistakes, you took the thing that I loved the most away from me" I said, tears being smeared all over my face, as I stared at him with my forest green eyes. Just like his. ... Astraea Knight is a 15 year old girl living with her four older brothers, due to her parent's disappearance when she was 13. No one knows what happened to them, and no traces were found. Left to fend for herself in this big family, Astraea is forced to keep the family afloat as new and old wounds begin to open up. The issues that were once forgotten and tucked into the pages of the past, begin to untangle themselves and into the lives of the Knight siblings. Astraea will soon unravel the truth, the truth of how her life came to be, the truth that no one wanted her to know.
