"I knew you were using me for my money and looks", Evan sobbed.
"happy late realisation", Hugo said in a perfectly serious voice.
Hazel and I were cackling like monkeys. And that was when I realised, as cheesy as it sounds, that my life is amazing and I couldn't ask for anything else.
Life has always been easy for me. The perfect family, loving best friends, job of her dreams, and now a new mansion I bought for myself. That's what everyone thought of, when the name Alice Carson came up.
And that's true. i mean, I've always been that. But hey, everyone wants to be their own person and not just a golden child who's been spoon fed all her life.
But, storms are brewing and are ready to create havoc in my "perfect little life". I have no idea as to what's about to happen (no, literally. go ask my lazy author) But i suppose when you have a best friend like Evan Bennet( a "hot-shot CEO") by your side, you can do anything.
