She's just getting settled in when she meets an interesting salesman. He tells her that she can play games for money. Making a little money won't hurt... or will it? She'll find out when she decides to join the games. She may also find more than wealth and death in the walls. Maybe she'll find love. This story is a slowburn that includes some enemies to lovers themes/undertones. The reader is female! ~~~ NOTES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/WARNINGS: When Y/N is in the games, I basically follow everything in Squid Game Season One, but I changed a few quotes and events to better suit this book and the inclusion of Y/N. The only trait I have assigned to Y/N is her player number: 055. You can imagine something else though! It won't be very important later on. Some possible triggers including: recurring PTSD, grief, mental breakdowns, drinking, hangovers, very brief sexual assault, detailed sexual assault, etc. More time-specific warnings will be present with the start of each chapter. No warnings = nothing I think will be particularly bad. There's strong language and constant mentions of death as almost this entire story is hosted in a facility that runs death games. This is the story of how we found out. At first it was just us three, a cold June morning, a hyper maths class, and a beloved teacher. Then, she had to leave, and it was just us three who had the idea that maybe it was not all it seemed. At first it was just us being silly. We made a 'fake' theory, just for fun, and it ended up not just involving her but everyone else who was being suspicious in our eyes. Ha ha. And then, we went to sleep, and didn't speak of it again, but when woke, there were more than the three of us who knew about it. At first it was just a theory, but before the week had ended it had turned into something more. Of course, at first we were skeptical, but not after it became our reality. A reality so true and harsh that at the first signs of disbelief, it had come to bite us, to hunt us down, to try to kill us. And then we had no choice to unrap it, and that was when we found the truth. This is mostly the story of how me and my two best friends, one teacher, and classmates solved the case of the missing maths teacher and saved about a dozen others from their fates. But this is also the start of something bigger. The formation of a team, the prospect of more adventures, and a mystery just waiting to be solved. During a livestream of a Hunger Games, he found him not able to see straight, hearing voices, and feeling sick. Mitch was playing with ASFJerome and Vikkstar123HD. The people watching Mitch's stream noticed Mitch acting weird, and then he passed out suddenly. Jerome and Vikk shut down the stream and raced to Mitch to shut down his stream and find out what's wrong. But later they found out 499 other people passed out under the same circumstances as Mitch, expect not on stream of course. But the questions are coming about what happened to cause this and will the 500 victims ever wake up?
