Sarah Bertram had everything a rich California upbringing could provide. But she didn't want to live out her life in the shadow of her wealthy and showy parents. After experiencing the death of a young lover while still a teen, Sarah, now in her mid-twenties, tried to find a more humble, simpler world. A place she envisioned as a 'greener field.' But Nature would not allow for this, as the attractive young woman was charmed into a summer romance by Jess Danford--a wealthy self-made man, on his way to becoming a billionaire. Just what that whirl-wind relationship would bring to Sarah was at first mysterious, but later much more than she bargained for. Her sensual adventures with Jess would send her into the deepest of carnal desires. But horrific events would emerge to push her beyond the boundaries of terror. Another man, even more mysterious would enter Sarah's world, different than Jess in every way. Yet she would shockingly learn the connection between these two was reason enough to fear for her very life.
