An Accidental Love

Neelima Khandelwal, her mother was a bar dancer and died of AIDS when she was five years old. Donating blood was a good deal for her; it was saving someone's life and she was earning a few bucks until a kind-hearted doctor saved her hands from an organ trafficking gang.

Dr. Dev Bansal rescued that same little girl when he found her unconscious in the suburbs during a medical survey camp. He adopted that malnourished and anemic girl as his daughter. That year she moved out of the country with Mr. and Mrs. Bansal and their son as the fourth member of their family.

He completed his studies far from home in a boarding school and was later shipped to India by his parents for medical studies. Though he spent very little time with her, she was the only girl he was comfortable talking to.
Growing up with his grandparents, and witnessing their love, Tavish believed there was no life without love.

He returns to Florida after 11 years, nearly 12, with his placement in a reputed Hospital. He wanted to surprise his parents but got one, finding his father had a new companion: the owner of the hospital, he entered. His mother too has a new family. They were divorced. He has half-siblings a decade younger than him and step-siblings of his age. There was no news of Alie. "No wonder, she never replied to my letters."
