I went to the park to get some fresh air when I saw my bestfriends-- Jace and Lauren sitting together on a bench. I walked towards them, curious on what they were doing. I was gonna surprise them when I heard Jace's voice
"Lauren, I've been wanting to tell you..." Jace trailed off, looking nervous as his crystal blue eyes stared back at Lauren.
"Jace, what is it? You can tell me" Lauren gave him a reassuring smile and squeezed his hand, I felt a sharp pang of jealousy, seeing how close they were.
"I've liked you for a while."
