A 14 year old boy named Fisher's best friend is his cat; Oatmeal. Oatmeal has always been with him and theres no sign of him leaving, but one day Fisher comes back early in the morning and gets in a fight with his dad. His dad throws Oatmeal out of the house and Fisher goes to find him, But Oatmeal isn't there, and Fisher will have to go through a lot to find him. While trying to find him, Fisher deals with not knowing who he is, and while searching for Oatmeal, he also searches for himself. TW: this story includes mentions of suicide multiple times, if you are sensitive to those types of things, please refrain from reading this

'So, you don't need to be scared anymore. I'll catch you if you fall, Misty.' He tightens his grip around my hand, refusing to break the strong gaze between us. He smiles sadly, 'You don't have to struggle anymore, kid.' (Mature cause swearing and younger readers may find some scenes upsetting)
