There is a lake in the middle of nowhere. Young couples gaze at the sunset, hand-in-hand. An old man reels in his catch, swatting the clouds of mosquitoes away.

And on one rainy day, a boy sits on a pier, silently waiting.

Nobody comes.

The (Short) Story of the Evil Umbrellas [Completed]

15 parts Complete

You wanted to know how I died? It's simple, really. I saw dead people... As umbrellas. And the umbrellas didn't like it. I'm sorry, did you want to hear more? Now a (completed) anthology of short stories, flash fiction, and hopefully quality writing. Expect to find a bereaved mother dealing with an post-apocalyptic wasteland, a hair-raising fairytale, two professional bankrobbers, the original Rick-Roller, and maybe a rubber chicken or two. And... three years later, we've reached 500 reads! Cover by @Lidlesaun. Thanks!
