Just like every day on patrol Legolas leads his sector to clear out spider nest. Until one day he catches a rather odd elleth from a spider web unconscious. The blue eyed girl was not like the other elleth. She was stubborn, rude, hostile, and mysterious. Starting off on the wrong hand with the Mirkwood kingdom she decided to join Legolas sector to keep her profile low. What happens when she is forced to show who she really is? Will they still except her into the kingdom? Who is this Elleth?

The relationship between Thranduil and Tauriel after the Battle of the 5 Armies. How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. It turns out there has been more behind their turbulent relationship than they let themselves believe. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic. I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books).
