They met on a warm, summer day when he was visiting a relative. They became inseparable, for she brought color to his dull world. Having grown up around people who only liked him because of his last name, he quickly fell for the genuine, clueless girl.
When he was sent back to his home country, he made her promise him that she would never forget him by the time he came back for her, and they would run away together.
Now, as the sole heir and inheritance of one of the largest companies in the world, he had all the power and wealth one could dream of. Having never forgotten their promise, he vowed to himself that he will make sure it comes true.
Little did she know how much weight her promise held.
