"Stop acting concerned!" He yelled in my ear. His voice echoed through the dungeon. He grabbed my shoulders and spun me around.
He was about to say something...but he stopped and scanned my face.
"You- you're crying...for him?" He asked. I didn't even realize. Alexios was beyond pissed, he wiped my tears harshly with his thumbs.
"You will not cry for him because you do not care for him." His teeth were clenched tightly and he almost growled the words. He knew that I didn't cry unless I cared...after all we used to be best friends.
Carter was yelling at Alexios in the background pulling in his restraints. But my heart was beating so loudly I was deafened by the sounds outside.
"The only person you're allowed to cry for is me."
