USS Kitty Hawk, nicknamed Battle Cat, was a very decorated and famed carrier. She was also one of the last oil-powered ones to be in service for the navy.
Of course, after 48 years, she was decommissioned in 2009. The navy had planned to have the Vietnam-era carrier sold for scraps after it was taken off the naval registry list.
Though, that scrapping plan didn't work out, did it?
(My long awaited and much needed rewrite.)

Meanwhile, the Iron Blood slipped into Royal navy-controlled waters, and a scuffle between the two countries flag ships was set into motion, that ultimately ended with the Royal Navys Flag Ship HMS Hood sent to the bottom of the sea. News of her death would send shockwaves across the WORLD! That would be FELT across the lands, oceans and mountains by all.
