Iris is one of the best agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. No one really knows anything about her, she is a very private preson, because of her past. That's why no one knows she has a power of telepathy. She has a hard past with Hydra that only Fury knows about. Dark and twisted nightmares won't let her sleep at night.
After her best friends death, Fury offers her a spot at the Avengers to change enviroment which she declines at first. But she realises that it's a good chance to achieve justice for her friend.
Shortly after the arrival to the Avenger's headquarters, she's meeting serious, always quiet, mysterious and hot James Buchanan Barnes. Although he's quiet, his thoughts are one big mess. There is attraction, there is chemistry and so much more... But what will happen if two broken souls are not able to heal? Can they heal eachother?

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
