All Ruby wanted was to be there for her sister after their mother died. She channeled her anger and motivation into a passion for sports, which takes her to a school for the most talented athletes.
Then, she meets Weiss Schnee, one of the greatest fencers in Vale. A strange turn of events leads to them joining forces in a competition that could make or break Ruby's greatest ambition.
The adversities of being a freshman in high school and falling in love with her new mentor teach Ruby that life is rough, but that's what makes it worth living.

Bride of the Sea (Lesbian Story) by HeatherDarte

"You know my voice calls for you, won't you join me down below?" A song has plagued Katherine's dreams for as long as she could remember. Each night, a voice calls for her from the shore, beckoning her to submerge beneath the waves. Katherine knows the creatures that swim in the waters next to her home, she knows to keep away from the beach that many tourists disappear from, she knows to keep herself out of the water so that she was not at risk of drowning and having her flesh torn from her bones. And yet the voice still calls, and she can't help but listen; how could she ignore such a sweet melody, especially when the one who sings refers to her as her wife? After an accident in her past, Katherine has felt uniquely connected to the water. The sea feels like home, and she is not scared of what lies within. Given her inability to stay away from the treacherous shoreline, it was only a matter of time before she encountered the mermaid, Reyna, who calls for her each night. The dangerous creature claims that this is not their first meeting and that they have been married for years, despite Katherine being sure that she has never met her before. What did being married to a mermaid entail anyway? And why was Reyna determined to pull her under despite assurances that she would not drown? Intent on discovering the mystery surrounding her apparent bride, Katherine is swept into the dark and deceptively beautiful world of the Mer where one must keep their feet, lest they be carried away by the tide... "I hear your voice call for me, but you know I cannot go."

In the final moment before her destruction, Wanda Maximoff " the Scarlet Witch " is pulled into a void beyond time or form. Lost in the abyss of her guilt, a mysterious light touches her... and brings her back. Not to her world, but to another. One where magic is different. Where redemption might take shape: the world of Harry Potter. When a luminous figure " a doe " shows her the memories of a boy abandoned and mistreated by his relatives, Wanda understands her new purpose: to protect Lily Potter's son. Though she doesn't know why she was chosen, she accepts the deal. In exchange for a chance at redemption, she will care for little Harry. But Wanda is no ordinary witch. And this world is not ready for her. From the very first moment on Privet Drive, the Dursleys will feel that something has changed. With power, resolve, and growing compassion, Wanda will face a new destiny. Because this time... no one will touch the boy without facing her. After all, who better to protect the Boy Who Lived... than the Scarlet Witch herself? Author's Disclaimer: This story is loosely inspired by the initial premise of Strange Potter, a work I greatly admire and that served as a creative spark for developing this project. Although the plot, character development, and events are entirely original and distinct, I believe it's only fair to acknowledge that initial influence. Likewise, this is a non-profit fanfic that blends elements from the Marvel and Harry Potter universes, whose rights belong to their respective creators and owners (Marvel/Disney and J.K. Rowling). This work is made with respect and with the intention of paying tribute to these worlds that so many of us have enjoyed.
