Alora Meda Torres is an avid book lover and hopeless romantic, always opting to spend her time getting overly attached to fictional characters than anything else. But now she's 18 and her friends and family have left her to go to college or work, she's starting to feel lonely and unaccomplished in need of a job. Enter 22 year old Lucian Parker Green who works at his family run business, The Green Bookshop. He's not your typical nerdy bookshop employee with him sporting tattoos and muscles rather than a tie and glasses. In fact he doesn't even read, he hates reading but a certain someone is determined to change that. What happens when the two begin to work together and an undeniable attraction blooms. No longer just between the pages of the books they stack daily.

Cole agreed to a marriage five years ago to make his mother and her best friend happy. But it hasn't been the easiest of times being married to a woman that barely sees him or their son, and seemingly wants nothing to do with more kids. Against his better judgement, Cole goes to have a vasectomy to try and make his wife happy about at least one aspect of their life, only to find out that she never cared at all. With his body aching, and heart a little dented, he meets Kaia at the local diner, and forms a quick attachment to her. With a past of her own, can the two of them find a love that they both have been wanting? **Trigger warning - This book mentions past sexual abuse
