Adrian Jenay Scott is your average 14 year old girl who lives with her parents. They are not all that rich considering her dad lost his job five months ago and her mom is a housewife. They are somewhat fine until trouble shoots itself into their lives. Her parents fight and argue a lot leading to her dad abandoning them. Adrian's mom decides to take Adrian to the orphanage thinking it's the best way for her to be safe and taken care of. Her parents go their seperate ways. Adrian has no choice but to live there hoping for a way out. Until..... two weeks to Christmas, she comes up with an escape plan which she executed perfectly.

She struggled, of course for a long time but her struggles seem to be worth it if it meant getting what was reserved for her life; Pure and true love like no other.
