A teenage girl essentially living on her own as her father is constantly away for work, leads her to spend a lot of time alone. Then one day, she gets invited to watch the circus that comes to town yearly, where she meets an enigmatic, mischievous boy called Hisoka. After rescuing him from his abusive master and offering him refuge, Ash believes she's found a kindred spirit. But one morning, Hisoka is simply gone - vanished without explanation or goodbye, leaving only questions behind. 

However, Years later, their paths cross again at the world-renowned hunters' exam.

Though, as your story progresses and you near the age of 18 you find yourself thrust into totally new circumstances whilst taking the Hunter Exam... Also, Hisoka dosent call you "sissy" or "sister" anymore, instead calling you "Love". You have enough self respect that you'd never even think about dating a clown, who also happens to be your coworker, confidant, and best friend? Right? WRONG.
