It's been months since Shae's disappearance and now it's Mitchell's turn to be at the mercy of the monster's claws.

It's been two months now since she left. Evaporated from the earth like rain, disappearing without a trace. Guilt eats away at me for I was the one who was constantly pushing her, trying to keep her sane. But lately, I can't help but feel that perhaps maybe, just maybe, something else was at play. Something sinister and vile, and it all started with the blue rose placed at my doorstep.

"Your favorite color." "Hmm." Davon let out as he leaned in towards her. He inspected Scarlet's cold eyes with full concentration, and after a few seconds, he finally responded when he moved away from her. "Auburn." ♢♦♢ Scarlet. She was a nightmare brought to life. A horror story to be told around campfires. A beast used to scare children if they didn't go to bed on time. The name alone struck fear into the most bravest of men or women. At the age of just 27, she had grown to be the most fatal assassin to walk the face of the Earth, and no one even knew what she looked like. Scarlet purposely left harmless traces behind with every kill, which served as a reminder to everyone that she still lurked in the shadows. But on one occasion, a dark-haired man with even darker eyes left a trace on her heart. 18+
