Rosalie Thomas has been Cassandra Morrison best friend since before Cass can remember. For sixteen years, Rose has always been there for her, helping her cope with weird nature controlling powers that literally run through her veins. But when  Cass reaches high school, she runs away from Rose and any reminder that she's anything but normal. She distracts herself with a slew of boy toys who line up for her choosing. Rose is left to watch at a distance as her best friend lives her screwed up life without her. That all changes when Cass is almost kidnapped by a babbling lunatic who speaks of a worlds of mystical creatures needing a queen. Had it not been for Rose, Cass would never have been heard from again. And her way of thanking Rose? Cass goes back to ignoring her the very next day.
However, everything changes when Cass shows up at Rose's house one night, nearly completely over run by the painful green veins that now cover her arms.

I'M GOING TO START EDITING THIS PROBABLY. If you go to Our Lady of the Black Veil Academy, chances are you know the names Cass Landry, Rebecca Lovelace, and Mallory Meksawan. Cass Landry being the mysterious new girl with a tendency to practice magic illegally, Rebecca being notorious for lighting up every room she walks into, and Mallory being the second in command it-girl of Black Veil, as famed as she is feared. After a magical attempt to escape detention goes terribly, horribly wrong and their ethics teacher winds up dead (ironic, they know), Cass must band together with Rebecca, the girl she "totally doesn't like", and Mallory, another girl she doesn't like (but like...for real this time) to find a spell that can bring their teacher back to life before her situation becomes permanent. A spell of this caliber, however, requires that they venture into the underground world of their picturesque town, striking a deal with a powerful gang leader that not only raises the stakes, but gives them an even tighter timeline. And though as a witch Cass has personal experience with life and death, the pressure that she's facing now might just be too tough to handle. Luckily, she's not alone. REWRITE IS UP NOW ANd is way better seriously. Taking a shortcut was the most life-changing decision Rosalie had ever made. One large demon cat later, she's whisked away by two knights to a separate realm because of her violet eyes and striking resemblance to their long lost princess. Ro is shoved into a life of magic, with duties to her kingdom and people piled on top. Duties, like being forced to attend the most elite school in the realm for young knights in training. But with her newfound strength and political influence comes death threats and assassination attempts from an unseen enemy. Rosalie juggles everything in her new life, hoping that she'll one day be the ruler she knows her kingdom deserves. This story has been one I've bounced around my head for years now, and I've finally written it out. You could say this is a labor of love. And pain. And caffeine. So much caffeine. "Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. This is a story about love and friendship. Friendship can grow so fast, it doesn't matter how long you know that person. If it's right, it's right. Kiara has always been quite lonely. She didn't know what real friendship was like. Until she met Cassandra. Cassandra was that type of friend everyone needs and Kiara was really glad to have Cassandra. They did everything together. Kiara was really depressed before she met Cassandra. She had been bullied and picked on since as long as she can remember. There wasn't even a reason for it and that makes it much worse. After a few years of good friendship, Kiara realized her love for Cassandra took a different turn, she started to have feelings and soon after, she and Cassandra got into a relationship. Life was good. Too good. After graduation, something really really terrible happened. Cassandra got into a car accident. It was really bad. She got into a really bad coma. Now it's three years later and she's still fast asleep. Kiara's life has been on pause ever since. Until- Kiara also got into an accident. Not that kind of accident though.. Kiara accidentally saw things she wasn't supposed to see. Heard things she wasn't supposed to know. The only possible option was to take Kiara with them. And that's when Kiara's life get's off pause. That's when she finally learns how to live again and finally meets people who don't enjoy picking on her. At least.. most of them.. So yeah, this story IS about love and friendship.
