Rosalie Thomas has been Cassandra Morrison best friend since before Cass can remember. For sixteen years, Rose has always been there for her, helping her cope with weird nature controlling powers that literally run through her veins. But when  Cass reaches high school, she runs away from Rose and any reminder that she's anything but normal. She distracts herself with a slew of boy toys who line up for her choosing. Rose is left to watch at a distance as her best friend lives her screwed up life without her. That all changes when Cass is almost kidnapped by a babbling lunatic who speaks of a worlds of mystical creatures needing a queen. Had it not been for Rose, Cass would never have been heard from again. And her way of thanking Rose? Cass goes back to ignoring her the very next day. However, everything changes when Cass shows up at Rose's house one night, nearly completely over run by the painful green veins that now cover her arms. (This summary is a work in progress. So is the title :/ )
