Teegan was going with family to visit a family friend, and when a drunk celebrity kills the friend, the husband finds that everything was left to Teegan. Making him homeless. So before the lawyer tells her so, he makes sure the lawyer 'disappears' and tells Teegan that his late wife wanted her to marry him.
So with two months before her forced marriage, she goes to make a list of changes she will be making to improve the towns businesses, as he has let a lot go. 
But when she is told to play a game she wins and feels weird. She has caught the attention of the late friends brother. 
Turns out her late friend was part demon, and her full brother, a king of Hell, is angry about the murder and wants to claim his sisters friend who fought to get the celebrity to face what he has done. 
And saves her from his disgusting brother in law. 
But he isn't any better. He doesn't care what Teegan wants, He wants her and that's all.
