Alli Is woken in the dead of night by her brother, the crowned prince. He tells her he must leave and convinces her to take his place as heir to the throne. She loves her twin brother and would do anything to ensure his safety and happiness so she agrees and take on the weight and burden of being the next in line for the throne, knowing she can not leave her kingdom without an heir when the king is already so close to passing on.

For the next years Alli becomes Alistair Blackthorn, crowned prince of the Alonian Kingdom and no one is the wiser. Very few know her secret and she plans to keep it that way. That is until a fiery little spit fire is thrust into her life and Alli must now cope with strange feelings for this fairy like woman and the growing weight the crown is putting on her shoulders.

This book has sexual reference and mentions of things that could possibly be triggering to some - e.g. young motherhood and loss of a parent. This work is usually split into two parts, but I have decided to take down the second part, and consider the first part, one book for now, so I can work on the second. When the second part/book has been finished, I'll decide whether I like it as one book or to reincorporate the rest of the book to make it one. Entered in the Wattys(2020)!

Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.
