"Twelve and a half years now," Tommy said to himself.
He looked at the silhouettes of the others. He could sense that they were all demoralized. No one could revive them now.
"You're horrible," Schlatt said.
"I'm just counting the days, man!" Tommy said. "What else am I supposed to do? Socialize with you maniacs?"
Dream laughed, accidentally breaking character. "Yes. Yes, that is what is expected."
"Shut up, Dream!" Tommy shouted, forcing Dream to become the hopeless murderer again. "You're in no place to talk! You caused this!"
"You killed us!" Dream countered.
"I-"
A horrid pain spread from the centre of his torso. It was painful, but also really, really cold. Then it all went black. Well, as black as vision could be when stuck in darkness.

Her knuckles hit gently against the wooden door. Her hair was soaked, clothes sticking to her uncomfortably. Her car was at her Uncle's seeing as she just ran from there. The door opened and there stood a very confused Ranboo. The pair hadn't talked in months, why now? "I didn't know where else to go." Asterin sobbed, the rain coming down harder with every passing minute. "Asterin, what's going on?" He asked, stepping outside, his hair immediately getting drenched. "He's gone again! His eyes, usually dull and sad, were ablaze with anger and hatred. He was done with Dream, he was done letting people hurt him, he was done with L'manburg and how much pain that place alone had brought him. "It's a place that only holds sorrow and fear now, Tommy." Wilbur had said, his brown eyes dull as he spoke. "It's brought grief even to us, hasn't it." Wilbur looked at Tommy before he continued. "It's not the place I built, L'manburg not the place that you and I loved." How right Tommy realized Wilbur was. The place he had once called home was no more than a breeding house for the chaos and sadness that now plagued the SMP. He wished he hadn't been so blind in the beginning, listened to Wilbur. But he had hoped that L'manburg wasn't a lost cause, that what he had fought so hard for was still salvageable. But he knew that L'manburg was always meant to fall, and they had only delayed it's downfall. "I-I'm sorry Wilbur... I should have listened to you."
